Abstract:
A mold of swelling forming process of tubes was built by 2D software,and the swelling forming processes of tubes without round angle and with round angle were simulated based on FEM(Finite Element Method) numerical simulation software.Changing laws of temperature field,stress field,strain field and load-stroke curve of upper die of the deforming material were obtained.The results indicate that the swelling forming with round angle has some advantages,such as smaller loads,smaller stress and well-proportioned strain compared with the swelling forming without round angle.In the meantime,the technology was researched experimentally which provided a theoretical basis for the industrial applications of the swelling forming with round angle technology.
