Abstract:
To search the application of thermal differential dieless forging for gear shape forgings,the 3D FEM model of thermal differential was established.The processing parameter for acquiring optimal temperature field on two heating modes was confirmed by orthogonal experimental design.On this condition,the simulating deformation was carried out on two different heating modes.It is indicated that the local deformation of upsetting forging is not large in any heating mode.Therefore,obtaining the large local deformation for gear shape forging piece is difficult by the method of thermal differential dieless forging.But this processing is a primal upsetting method.
