Abstract:
High strength low alloy(HSLA) steel has played an important role in the history of steel development.Under the new condition concerning problems of sources,energies and environment and remarkable improvement of technological level and controllability in steel making and steel rolling industry,upgrade of steel products becomes the first imperative.It is urgent to transfer conceptions from adding alloying elements to the optimization of rolling and cooling processing parameters to improve steel performance.Successful development of fine grained steel and grain refinement + multiphase strengthened steel justifies this idea.The transformation from HSLA steel to high performance low cost(HPLC) steel brings a new trend for steel development.
