Abstract:
The bending deformation process for 17 type of coupler yokes was introduced. The three-dimensional coupler yokes bended forging was made by applying PROE software, and the bending deformation process for coupler yokes was analyzed by using Deform-3D software, then the forging process for coupler yokes was optimized. The results show that the optimized forging process for coupler yokes is reasonable, the good deformation of part can be obtained, and thereby indicating FEM analysis is worth using in forging field.
