Abstract:

According to the problems of insufficient strength,lower material utilization and higher processing cost when the internal gear is shaped by machining,process scheme of cold extrusion technique to form non-hole-through internal gear was presented. The scheme was divided into two kinds-cold extrusion for solid billet and hollow billet-based on the shape of initial billet,the respective procedure was pointed out,and the design requirements of tooth shape punch were put forward. By numerical simulation,the two kinds of schemes were systematically studied in terms of load,effective gear height,gear parts accuracy and die strength,and applicable conditions of the two schemes were obtained respectively. The results will play a certain guiding role in practical production.
