Abstract:
Equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) is an advanced technology for the preparation of bulk ultra-fine grained materials by way of simple shear deformation.The coordinate grid method was used to carry on the experiment,and the relationship curve of load-stroke and the change of sample mesh were obtained.In the meantime,the plastic deformation processes for 5052 aluminum alloy were simulated by the Deform-3D software.The numerical solutions and experimental results were accordant.Based on the above results,the distributed law of the extrusion force and the equivalent strain were analyzed,and furthermore,the plastic deformation behavior was investigated.
