Abstract:
Hydraulic electro-upsetter and friction screw press are widely employed in valve forming at present.Due to the restrictions of traditional equipment,it is difficult to improve the quality of products.Thus,a fully automated production line of valve forming with new metal forming machines was set up domestically for the first time,which was composed of four vertical units pneumatic electro-upsetter and one numerical controlled electric screw press,manipulator and press unloader were used to achieve automatic loading and unloading.This production line can effectively reduce the reject rate from 2% to 0.5% and improve the consistency of products.This research achievement has been applied successfully in the practical work.
