Abstract:

The process analysis and optimization for the clutch block were described.The finite element model was created based on two different schemes,and numerical simulation was proposed using software package of DEFORM-3D.The stress,strain,velocity distribution,load and other data were compared with the actual cold extrusion process.Finally,the scheme one was irrationality and the reason about the die failure was analyzed,and the result of the scheme two was better than the scheme one.The simulation result was incorporated into the actual production process and the products were got which met the draft requirements.
