Abstract:
This Paper,by taking Plane-strain Compression for an example,deals with the features and the construction of the approximate Slip-line field, the calculation of coordinates of nodal points in the slip-line field, the construction of hodograph, distribution of stiesses and velocities within the plastic Zone, and determination of the force required for deformation In addition, the corelation between the stress and the velocity fields has been discussed.
