Abstract:
The appearance of crack has been adopted as criterion of rupture in cupping test fora long time. The scatter among test data is rather great and influenced greatly Dy operators. Drop in load is Presented as criterion of rupture in cupping test. A large number of tests show that the new criterion is Practicable. giving test data of small scatter and indepe ndent on operators. saving tine, strength and material, allowing constant punch (?)pee(?) and the automation of the test procedure.
