Abstract:
A new method, the finite element method, to determinate the proper shape of the blank for deep drawing of complicated parts has been given in this paper. The presented method takes account of the influence of all geometrical, physical and mec hanical factors. The proper shape of the blank of drawn parts with complicated closed or split contour and with a ribbed flange can be calculated.
