Abstract:
Blank layout is very important for blanking die CAD research. In this paper, the technology structure of blank layout CAD is briefly described, then a high efficient, reasonable core algorithm called “improved transversal length” for normal blank layout is summarized. Furthermore, it is extended to the nest problem and a method using graph cutting and translation is put forward which provides a new idea for the nest problem.
