Abstract:

Tube hydroforming is a method for forming hollow, circular metal tubes, which has an wide perspective in automotive industry and aerospace technology The friction between the blank and the tools is of key factor for the forming process and is attracting more and more attention of many researchers In this paper, the friction during tube hydroforming is discussed A new sealing type is proposed, which improved the friction between the blank and the tools and a good sealing effect is archieved together
