锻压态汽车散热器壳体AE42镁合金的组织与性能

摘要:

 为了研究锻压态汽车散热器壳体用AE42镁合金的组织与性能,以均匀化处理后的AE42镁合金棒料为坯料进行锻压试验,并与铸态合金试样进行了显微组织、室温力学性能和室温耐蚀性能的对比。结果表明:锻压明显细化了AE42镁合金的组织,提高了合金的力学性能和耐蚀性能,合金的抗拉强度、屈服强度和断后伸长率分别达到223 MPa、135 MPa和11.6%,抗拉强度和屈服强度较铸态合金分别提高了106和81 MPa,断后伸长率较铸态合金稍有增大。锻压态汽车散热器壳体用AE42镁合金的腐蚀电位为-1.517 V,较铸态合金正移了131 mV。研究结果证明了锻压态汽车散热器壳体用AE42镁合金具有细小均匀的内部组织、优异的力学性能和耐蚀性能。

 In order to study the microstructure and properties of forged AE42 magnesium alloy for automotive radiator housing, take the homogenized AE42 magnesium alloy bars as the blanks to conduct the forging test, and the microstructure, room temperature mechanical properties, and room temperature corrosion resistance properties were compared with as-cast alloy specimens. The results show that forging significantly refines the microstructure of AE42 magnesium alloy, and improves the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance properties of the alloy. The tensile strength, yield strength and elongation after fracture of the alloy reach 223 MPa, 135 MPa and 11.6%, respectively. The tensile strength and yield strength are increased by 106 and 81 MPa respectively compared with those of the as-cast alloy. The elongation after fracture is slightly increased compared with that of the as-cast alloy. The corrosion potential of forged AE42 magnesium alloy for automotive radiator housing is -1.517 V, which shifts positively by 131 mV compared with that of the as-cast alloy.The research results proves that the forged AE42 magnesium alloy for automotive radiator housing  has a fine and uniform internal structure, excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance properties.
