Through the research of the material and forge ability under high temperature and the analysis of the different metal zonal flows of the high-speed steel in extrusion process by Deform-3D, the extrusion process technological parameters were rationally designed and adjusted. And then the female-die was optimized to solve problems, such as the bend, flaw, low precision etc. and the qualified parts were obtained. Meanwhile, by contrasting the metallographic structure before and after extrusion of the high-speed steel, the refined grains, homogenous carbide distribution and improved structure property were obtained by extrusion process.
