汽车贯通轴锻件,总长约867 mm,锻件中间局部尺寸粗大。原采用热模锻工艺生产,材料利用率较低,现改进为平锻工艺生产,每根锻件节材3.6 kg。在开发平锻工艺的过程中,发现锻件端头Φ42 mm处很难充满,而中间Φ76 mm的部分因加热质量等因素的影响,质量很不稳定。调试后,对锻件图和平锻工艺又进行了改进,并最终取得了成功。该工艺对类似的长轴类锻件采用平锻机生产,有一定的借鉴作用。
A hollow shaft was produced in Dongfeng Forging,Co.,Ltd.,Its total length was about 867mm,and the diameter of the middle part was much bigger than that of adjacent part.Originally,it was forged with hot die machine,and the material utilization was low.Now it was improved to be produced with upset forging machine,and each piece could save 3.6kg steel.During the development of upset forging technology,it was found that the end part of Φ42mm was very hard to fill out,and the quality of the middle part of Φ76mm was not very stable with the unstable heat quality.After the debugging,adjustments were made both to the forging drawing and the upset forging technology,and success was achieved in the end.Some lessons can be drawn from this upsetting forging technology for other similar forgings with long axis.
